I've always believed our gifts are meant to be used to help others. Romans 12:6, 8 speaks about using whatever gifts God has given us, whether that's encouraging, serving, teaching, leading, giving or showing kindness, and doing it well.
Looking back, I can see that principle woven throughout my career. I love encouraging people, connecting them with opportunities, helping them recognize the story they may not see in themselves and opening doors when I can.
For me, public relations has never been only about getting someone's name in the news. It's about listening, finding what matters, and helping good people and meaningful organizations be seen and heard.
"I consider it a privilege to use the relationships, experience and gifts God has given me to help others tell their stories."

In Be Media Ready, Kelly Bennett shares practical strategies to help business owners, nonprofits, authors, and professionals become the kinds of stories the media wants to cover.
